Gratitude is only for God, the Lord of the worlds; the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. [Lord!] It is only You whom we worship and it is only Your help that we seek. Bless us with the guidance of the straight path – the path of those you have blessed, not of those who have earned your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. (1:1-6)
Our Lord! Grant us in this world what is good and in the Hereafter what is good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire! (2:201)

(286:2)
Our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us. Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have the strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, have mercy on us. You are our Protector and help us against the disbelievers. (2:286)

(3: 191-194)
Our Lord! You have not created [all] this without a purpose. Glory to You! Save us from the torment of the Fire. Our Lord! Indeed, those whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have humiliated them, and never will the unjust find any helpers. Our Lord! Indeed, we have heard a caller calling to faith: “Believe in your Lord,” and we believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and take away from us our evil deeds, and make us die with your loyal people.
