73. Spending on the Family

عن أبي مَسْعُودٍ الْبَدْرِيِّ عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ إذا أَنْفَقَ على أَهْلِهِ نَفَقَةً وهو يَحْتَسِبُهَا كانت له صَدَقَةً

Abu Mas‘ud al-Badriy (rta) reported that the Prophet (sws) said: “When a person spends on his family and he hopes for its reward, then this will be [an act] of charity for him.”[1]
