34. Sound Morals and Conduct

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (rta) reported that God’s Messenger (sws) said: “The best among you are those who are morally sound than others.”[1]

Abu al-Darda’ (rta) reported that the Prophet(sws) said: “On the Day of Judgement, it will be sound moral behaviour which will carry most weight in the scales of a person.”[2]

‘A’ishah (rta) said: “I heard God’s Messenger (sws) as saying: ‘“A believer achieves the same rank through sound moral behaviour as can be achieved through fasts and the night prayers.’”[3]
