‘Iyad ibn Himar (rta) said: “[Once] God’s Messenger (sws) delivered a sermon to us and said: ‘God has revealed to me that you should show humility so that no one should express superiority over another and no one should commit excess against another.’”[1]
Abu Hurayrah (rta) reported that God’s Messenger (sws) said: “Charity does not in any way decrease wealth and the person who forgives, God increases his respect, and each person who shows humility for God, God elevates his status.”[2]
