105. Selecting a Spouse

عن أبي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ لِأَرْبَعٍ لِمَالِهَا وَلِحَسَبِهَا وَجَمَالِهَا وَلِدِينِهَا فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ

Abu Hurayrah (rta) reported that the Prophet (sws) said: “A woman is married for four reasons: her wealth, her status, her beauty and her religiosity. Select the one who is religious.”[1]
