Winning over your Enemies

وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ إدْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ (41: 33-36)

Good and evil are not equal. Avenge evil with good, and he with whom you have enmity will become your dearest friend. And none will attain this [wisdom] except those who are patient and none will attain it except the very fortunate. (41:33-36)
