20. Supplication to show Gratitude

رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِیۡۤ  اَنۡ  اَشۡکُرَ  نِعۡمَتَکَ الَّتِیۡۤ  اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَیَّ  وَ عَلٰی وَالِدَیَّ  وَ اَنۡ  اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرۡضٰہُ وَ اَصۡلِحۡ  لِیۡ  فِیۡ ذُرِّیَّتِیۡ ۚؕ اِنِّیۡ  تُبۡتُ  اِلَیۡکَ وَ اِنِّیۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ (46: 15)

 

Lord! Take hold of me so that I can express my gratitude to You for the favours You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and to do righteous deeds that will please You. And in my progeny also grant me pious heirs. To You I turn and to You I submit. (46:15)
