I Qur’anic Verse of the Day

 

Belief in all Divine Books

 

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰہِ وَ رَسُوۡلِہٖ وَ الۡکِتٰبِ الَّذِیۡ نَزَّلَ عَلٰی رَسُوۡلِہٖ وَ الۡکِتٰبِ الَّذِیۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ وَ مَنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِاللّٰہِ وَ مَلٰٓئِکَتِہٖ وَ کُتُبِہٖ وَ رُسُلِہٖ وَ الۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ  ضَلٰلًۢا  بَعِیۡدًا .(136:4)

 

Believers! Profess faith in God and His Messenger, in the Book He has revealed to His Messenger, and also in the Book He revealed earlier. And [remember that] he who denies God, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers and the Last Day has strayed far. (4:136)

Refraining from Deception

 

عَنْ أبي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سمع رَسُوْلَ اللّٰہِ صَلَّي اللّٰہُ عَلَیۡہِ وَسَلَّمَ يقول إِنَّ شَرَّ الناس ذُو الْوَجْهَيْنِ الذي يَأْتِي هَؤُلَاءِ بِوَجْهٍ وَهَؤُلَاءِ بِوَجْهٍ

 

Abu Hurayrah (rta) reported that he heard God’s Messenger (sws) say: “The worst amongst the people is he who has two faces; to some people he comes with one face and to others with another.”[1]
