I came into contact with Mr Javed Ahmad Ghamidi in 1976 and started occasionally attending his lectures. This general and informal learning and teaching continued for some time until I started regularly learning religious disciplines from Mr Ghamidi in 1984. I resigned from my job when it proved a hindrance in his studies. I received training in Hadith from the scholars of Ahl-i Hadith School of Thought and learned Fiqh disciplines from Hanafi scholars. I was honored to be trained in Arabic language and literature by Javed Ahmad Ghamidi. Then formally joined al Mawrid in 1991.
