what is the Punishment for blasphemy against the Prophet(pbuh)?
There is no punishment for Blasphemy in Quran or sunnah of Prophet S.A.W.
Some people cite Al-maida(5) verses 33—34 as the basis for the punishment of Blasphemy.

“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is:execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter.” Al-Quran 4:33
Verse tells us that a person should be waging war , and in blasphemy nothing of the sort happens. . . I think it’s baseless to present these verses for the punishment of blasphemy.
In fact in the holy book , the Al-Mighty have asked the people who to insult prophet S.A.W by saying Raena , to say Undhurna . This shows the way that how one should deal with the person who has done blasphemy. God Al-Mighty didn’t said a word about the blasphemers , nor doe he prescribe any punishment , but he told the Muslims to call the Prophet S.A.W with different word.
“O you who believe! do not say Raina and say Unzurna and listen, and for the unbelievers there is a painful chastisement.” Al-Quran2:3
Similarly in other ocassions , God has asked Muslims to leave the company of such people who do such acts and return to them with dawah when the atmosphere is changed.
Shariah is only made by Quran and sunnah of prophet S.A.W , and in both cases we see that there isn’t any punsihment prescribed for blasphemy, hence one could not make a shariah on his own accounts. Quran is pretty clear about the punsihments and when it comes to death penalty , Quran clearly tells us that it’s for none , except those who have killed another or person or have done fisaad-fil-arz.
“For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or formischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoeverkeeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainlyOur messengers came to them with clear arguments, but even afterthat many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.” Al-Quran 5:32.
