Anas ibn Malik (rta) stated that God’s Messenger (sws) said: “Help your brother whether he is the oppressor or the oppressed.” A person thereupon said: “I can help him if he is oppressed but please tell me how can I help him if he is the oppressor?” The Messenger (sws) replied: “Stop him from oppression. This is how you can help him.”[1]
