عن عَائِشَةَ رضي الله عنها قالت ما انْتَقَمَ رسول اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم  لِنَفْسِهِ في شَيْءٍ يؤتي إليه حتى تنتهك من حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَيَنْتَقِمَ لِلَّهِ

‘A’ishah (rta) said: “God’s Messenger (sws) never took revenge from anyone for his own self except if some of God’s limits were violated. So, he would seek revenge for God.”[1]
